Early Career Applied Practitioner Award

The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), through the AASP Foundation, offers the Early Career Applied Practitioner Award to recognize excellence in applied sport psychology and support practitioners establishing their careers. The award includes a plaque, $1,000 cash prize, waived registration for the year’s AASP Annual Conference, and free registration for the Project E Establish course. Nominees must be professional AASP members, be within seven years of completing a doctoral degree or a master’s degree without plans to pursue a doctorate, and demonstrate excellence in applied practice. Applications may be submitted by any AASP member, including self-nominations, and require a two-page letter and curriculum vitae by April 15 annually.
