Early Childhood Education Start-up or Expansion Grants

The Dane G. Hansen Foundation provides grants to support the start-up or expansion of licensed home-based, nonprofit group home, or childcare centers in Northwest Kansas. These grants aim to address the shortage of quality early childhood education by funding facility remodeling, new construction, and innovative programs for daycare providers. Eligible applicants are communities in Northwest Kansas that demonstrate identified need, community engagement, commitment to livable wages for staff, and local financial support. Priority is given to applications with demonstrated local funding contributions.
