About this program

Eastern Oregon Border Economic Development Board, administered via the Oregon Community Foundation, is offering grants to strengthen education, workforce training, and economic development in the Border Region with an application window of February 1–March 31. Awards (maximum $100,000) prioritize projects that enhance regional prosperity, property tax base, competitiveness with Idaho, workforce availability/skills, regional image, and that leverage outside funding. Eligible applicants are local educational service providers in the Border Region, and funds may be used for programs, equipment, or facility upgrades for workforce training that meet industry standards. Applications require industry letters of support, a one-to-one funding match, submission through MyOCF by March 31 (5:00 p.m. MT), and questions must be submitted in writing at least two weeks before the deadline.
