Economic Mobility & Black Homeownership Pilot Program

About this program

The Community Foundation of Richmond, in partnership with the Amandla Fund for Economic and Racial Justice, Southside Community Development and Housing Corporation, and the Community Foundation, has launched the Economic Mobility & Black Homeownership Pilot Program. This initiative provides $200,000 in down payment assistance grants and pre- and post-purchase counseling to support 10 Black first-time home buyers in the Richmond region. Eligibility is limited to Black individuals or families within 80% to 150% of the area median income range who are purchasing their first home. Applicants must reside in the Richmond region to qualify for this program.
