ECP Research Award

About this program

The Entomological Society of America offers the ECP Research Award to recognize a Student Transition or Early Professional (ECP) member who has made outstanding research contributions to entomology; the recipient receives $1,000, complimentary registration to the ESA Annual Meeting, and an award plaque. Nominees must be current ESA ECP members and are eligible the year following their terminal degree or within five years of degree completion (recent graduates who remain Student members through the calendar year do not qualify); nominations may be submitted by anyone, with a maximum of two self-nominations per year. Nomination packages must be uploaded via the ESA awards site in PDF/TIF/JPG format, must not exceed 20 pages total, and must include a CV with specified sections, a nominee research statement (≤2 pages), and two letters of recommendation; eligibility extension requests must be emailed to awards@entsoc.org by May 1.
