ECS Summer Fellowships

About this program

The Electrochemical Society offers up to four annual Summer Fellowships of up to $5,000 each to support students conducting electrochemistry-related research or other work during the June–September summer period. Preference is given to activities that broaden a student’s program of study, including research at another institution, and applications are due January 15. Applicants must be ECS members, enrolled graduate students pursuing a degree between the BS and PhD, and continuing their studies after the fellowship; recipients may not hold another named fellowship during the award period. Awardees must submit a 100–150-word summary of their work and acknowledge ECS support in related publications.
