About this program

ECTRIMS offers one- or two-year Postdoctoral Research Fellowships to support mentored basic, clinical, or applied research training focused on multiple sclerosis in a European laboratory or clinic. The 2027 application cycle opens in August 2026, with applications due December 1, 2026. Applicants of any nationality must be scientists or physicians holding an MD, PhD, ScD, or equivalent by the application deadline and may not have previously worked at the proposed host institution or under the proposed mentor. Applications require supporting documentation from the applicant, mentor, host institution, and professional referees.
