Ed and Ethel Moore Alzheimer's Disease Research Program

About this program

A Florida Legislature–funded program awards grants to support research on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure of Alzheimer’s disease, with priority given to projects designed to prevent or cure the disease. The program aims to improve Floridians’ health, expand the knowledge base on Alzheimer’s, and stimulate state economic activity related to Alzheimer’s research. Researchers at any university or research institute in Florida are eligible to apply; eligible award types include investigator‑initiated and institutional research grants, pre‑ and post‑doctoral fellowships, and collaborative basic or applied research grants.
