EFIS-IL Short-Term Fellowships for Transnational Immunology Collaboration

The European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS), in partnership with Immunology Letters, offers short-term fellowships of up to three months to support transnational scientific collaboration in immunology. Fellows receive €1,925 per month, plus reimbursement of travel costs up to €500. Applicants must hold at least a Master’s degree, belong to an EFIS-affiliated society for at least one year, and conduct the research stay at a European institution outside their current country of residence; early-career PhD/MD researchers with up to three years of postdoctoral experience are eligible. Applications require a CV, publication list, research proposal, recommendation letter, host acceptance letter, and membership proof; the next deadline is November 13, 2026.
