Eileen Southern Travel Fund

The American Musicological Society (AMS) offers the Eileen Southern Travel Fund to support students from historically underrepresented groups in attending the AMS Annual Meeting. Named in honor of Eileen Southern, the fund provides travel grants, lodging, complimentary registration, and a one-year AMS membership, along with mentorship and career exploration opportunities in musicology. Eligible applicants include undergraduates and terminal master's degree candidates from historically underrepresented groups, including international students enrolled at U.S. or Canadian universities. Applications are currently paused, with interested individuals directed to apply for the AMS Annual Meeting Travel Grant instead.
