About this program
American Neurological Association (ANA) offers the Emerging Scholars Award to recognize innovative research by junior and early-career neurologists and neuroscientists; top-scoring abstracts identified by the Annual Meeting Programming (AMP) Committee and Plenary Session chairs are selected for presentation during the Annual Meeting plenary sessions. Following the plenary, the AMP committee names the three highest-scoring presenters, each receiving a $250 prize. Eligible applicants are students, residents, trainees, postdoctoral fellows, assistant professors, and instructors; candidates are selected from submitted abstracts and, if the primary author cannot attend, a co‑author who meets an eligible career category may present.
