Endeavor Awards

About this program

The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research’s Endeavor Awards provide $3 million over three years for collaborative basic, translational, or clinical research addressing urgent questions in cancer prevention, diagnosis, or treatment. Projects must integrate contributions from multiple investigators to achieve impact beyond what individual efforts could accomplish. Teams must include one PI and two to eight co-PIs, all holding independent faculty appointments at nonprofit academic or research institutions; there are no citizenship or geographic restrictions. Proposed work must address an unmet need, be free of overlapping support, and allocate funding according to actual project costs, with indirect costs capped at 10% of direct costs.
