Enders/ACSUS 50 Research Award

About this program

The Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS), supported by the Thomas O. Enders Endowment, offers the biennial Enders/ACSUS 50 Research Award: a $15,000 grant to support U.S.-based scholars whose research or creative projects will make a significant contribution to Canadian Studies, with special interest in energy policy, economics, cross‑border issues, climate change, and the environment. Funds cover direct research costs only (no institutional overhead) and will be paid directly to the recipient; applications are due 2026-12-01 with award notifications on 2026-12-31. Eligible applicants are U.S.-based researchers from any discipline; submit one PDF by email to Dr. Alexandre Couture Gagnon (alexandre.couturegagnon@utrgv.edu) including a three‑page project letter with timeline and budget, one letter of recommendation, a sample of recent scholarly or creative work, and an updated CV, and note a final report on supported research is due 2026-12-01.
