Endowed Faculty Matching Grant

About this program

The AAE Foundation for Endodontics offers the Endowed Faculty Matching Grant to strengthen endodontic education by supporting the endowment of permanent academic or research faculty positions in endodontics, providing matching funds of up to 10% of the required endowment (maximum $200,000). Eligible applicants are U.S. and Canadian dental schools accredited by, or holding reciprocal agreement with, the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. Applications are considered only when the institution has already raised at least 60% of the required funds (calculated after subtracting the requested Foundation grant), and grants are paid only upon completion of agreed fundraising goals; institutions may not reapply for 10 years. If an institution cannot complete the endowment it must notify the Foundation within 14 days and refund any paid grant with interest at the prime rate within 30 days; applications are submitted via the Foundation’s Endowed Faculty Matching Grant form and awards are at the Board of Trustees’ sole discretion.
