EORS Exchange Travel Grant

About this program

European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) offers the annual AO-EORS Exchange Travel Grant of up to €1,000 to support short-term research or training visits to a different institution and country within Europe, with expenses reimbursed based on declarations and receipts. Exchanges must last at least two weeks and take place in the solar year following the award announcement; visits starting before the award are ineligible for reimbursement. Applicants and the host supervisor must be EORS members in good standing, the host supervisor must be a faculty member at the host institution, and candidates must be under 40; two award categories exist: Junior (residents/PhD students) and Young & Future PIs (PhD awarded <10 years). Applications require a CV, budget, motivation and project descriptions, host commitment letter and current supervisor recommendation; awardees must submit a final report (template), at least two pictures and receipts within eight weeks after the exchange and consent to publication of submitted materials.
