Eppendorf Edman ECR Award

About this program

The Eppendorf Edman ECR Award, administered by the Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with travel support from Eppendorf South Pacific, recognizes outstanding early-career research and provides funds to attend an overseas biochemistry/molecular biology conference or to undertake a short laboratory visit to access specialised equipment or learn new techniques. Eligible applicants have no more than seven years postdoctoral experience (or equivalent, with allowances for career disruptions) and must have been ASBMB members for at least two years prior to the year of application or must take out a three‑year membership in the year of application. Applications must include at least two supporters who have each been ASBMB members for a minimum of two years, follow the Eppendorf Edman ECR Award Application Template saved as a single PDF, and provide a letter of reference for each supporter.
