Eric N. Prystowsky Fellows Clinical Research Award

About this program

Heart Rhythm Society's Eric N. Prystowsky Fellows Clinical Research Award recognizes the fellow with the highest-scoring abstract in the Clinical Electrophysiology and Catheter Ablation categories to promote excellence in clinical research. Winners receive complimentary registration to the current year's Heart Rhythm meeting, a commemorative plaque, $2,500 for travel and housing, a $2,000 cash award, and an honorary mention at the awards ceremony, supported by the Eric and Bonnie Prystowsky Clinical Research Fund. Eligible applicants are early career investigators 1–5 years out of fellowship who submit an abstract in the Clinical Electrophysiology or Catheter Ablation categories, indicate interest during the regular abstract submission period, and whose research involving intact human subjects was substantially completed within that 1–5 year timeframe. The award is given annually and the Heart Rhythm Program Chair and Vice Chair select the winner based on relative abstract scores and subject matter.
