ERS/ELF best abstract grant for Healthy Lungs for Life

The European Lung Foundation, in partnership with the European Respiratory Society, is offering the ERS/ELF Best Abstract Grant for the Healthy Lungs for Life campaign to cover early-bird registration and provide a travel grant for the author of the most newsworthy abstract to attend ERS Congress 2026 in Barcelona. Eligible abstracts should address disease prevention and lung health topics such as smoking cessation, physical activity, vaccination, air quality, or climate change. Applicants must be ERS active members, submit their abstract via the ERS abstract platform, achieve a minimum average abstract grade of 3.5, be 40 years old or younger at the application deadline, not have previously received this specific ERS/ELF grant, and must not have received any ERS grant or sponsorship within the last three years.
