About this program
The European Society of Biomechanics (ESB) offers a portfolio of awards and grants presented at the ESB Congress to recognize excellence and support translation of biomechanics research, including the Huiskes Medal, S.M. Perren Research Award, ESB Early Career Research Award, Best Doctoral Thesis, Clinical Biomechanics Award, student and poster awards, travel and mobility grants, and a Congress Participation Inclusion Fund. All ESB members are eligible unless a specific award’s criteria restrict eligibility; applicants should consult the ESB Awards Regulations or contact Awards Committee Chair Dieter Pahr (TU Wien) for submission details and review the ESB newsletter note regarding the 2026 awards.
