Etruscan Foundation Conservation Fellowship

About this program

The Etruscan Foundation offers a Conservation Fellowship awarding $2,500 to support archaeological conservation treatment, analysis, museum study, or research on Etruscan and pre‑Roman Italic artifacts (Bronze Age–1st century BCE) in U.S. or Italian collections. Eligible applicants are U.S., Canadian, and European citizens who are professional conservators, students enrolled in North American conservation degree programs, or pre‑program students seeking supervised field experience; first‑year graduate and pre‑program applicants must be supervised by an experienced conservator at the project site. Funds cover travel, meals, lodging and ancillary materials (recipients are expected to seek additional funding as needed), projects must adhere to the Archaeological Institute of America’s Code of Ethics, and applications are due March 1 and October 1.
