Families at the HEART (2026-2028)

About this program

Perigee Fund is supporting expansion of culturally rooted maternal, infant, and early childhood mental health supports, with several initiatives targeting families from pregnancy through age three. Families at the HEART (2026–2028) will award a one‑time upfront grant of $425,000 to up to six organizations to strengthen leadership and capacity for community‑developed intervention models that increase access to culturally rooted perinatal and early‑childhood mental health services. Perigee’s Building Together RFP (2025–2027) allocated $2.5 million to ten multi‑sector coalitions (groups of five or more partners) for systems change, and the Maternal Mental Health Equity Fund (2024–2027) is a pooled $5 million investment supporting BIPOC‑led programs working in BIPOC communities with operations, technical assistance, and evaluation. Eligible applicants include community‑rooted organizations with demonstrated impact—community‑developed pregnancy‑to‑age‑3 models, multi‑sector partner coalitions, and BIPOC‑led initiatives—each selection emphasizing family‑driven design and capacity building.
