Scholarship America offers the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund to support the educational aspirations of students whose families were directly impacted by the 9/11 attacks and subsequent rescue efforts. Since its inception in 2001, the fund has awarded $190.8 million to 3,865 students, with ongoing efforts to assist those affected by related illnesses. Eligibility is limited to children whose parent was lost or severely affected by the events of 9/11. Donations are encouraged to sustain this vital support for affected families.
