Sponsored by Scholarship America, a nonprofit organization, this fund provides financial support to students whose families were directly impacted by the 9/11 attacks and rescue mission. Since its inception in 2001, the fund has awarded over $190.8 million to 3,865 students, fostering a community dedicated to honoring the promise made to these families. Eligibility is limited to children whose parent was lost or severely affected by the events of 9/11. There are no application deadlines, ensuring ongoing support for qualifying students.
