Family Medicine Chapter Alliance Grant Awards

About this program

The AAFP Foundation’s Family Medicine Chapter Alliance Grants support philanthropic projects led by AAFP constituent chapters and chapter foundations in student/resident development, member outreach, and public health. The 2026 project period runs July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with applications accepted January 1–February 28 and awards announced in late May. Eligible applicants must be AAFP chapters or chapter foundations organized as 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) organizations; individuals, endowments, political campaigns, lobbying, and fundraising activities are ineligible. Applications must include the required budget worksheet, allocate at least 70% of requested funds to program services and no more than 30% to staff and administration, and include a final report due August 15, 2027.
