FAST IMPACT Award: Advancing AS Research

About this program

The Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) offers the FAST IMPACT Award to support comprehensive translational research projects advancing Angelman syndrome treatments from pre-clinical phases to IND application preparation. This grant encourages innovative approaches, including repurposing approved therapies, with a focus on pharmacological interventions, disease-modifying treatments, and gene therapies. Eligibility is limited to nonprofit institutions and individuals with training and experience equivalent to a PhD or MD, who must pursue research full-time or as specified by their institution. Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) detailing project objectives, budget, preliminary data, and a CV/Biosketch prior to applying.
