About this program
Offered by the Medieval Academy of America, the Fellows Research Award makes two annual awards of $5,000 each to support travel and access expenses for consulting original sources, archives, manuscripts, works of art, or monuments in situ for research in medieval studies. Eligible applicants are Ph.D. candidates and non-tenure-track scholars who are members of the Medieval Academy by September 15 and who do not have access to other research funding. To apply, submit the application form and required attachment by October 15; awards are announced at the Academy’s annual meeting.
