Fellows-to-Faculty Award

About this program

The Simons Foundation’s Fellows-to-Faculty Award provides up to five years of support for fellows transitioning to independent faculty positions and establishing research programs. The Faculty Research Award offers $200,000 annually for three years, including 20% indirect costs, while an optional postdoctoral phase provides up to two years of stipend and career-development support. Applicants must be Simons fellows pursuing a faculty position or launching an independent laboratory, with affiliations permitted at institutions in or outside the United States.
