Field Trip New Jersey Fund - Bus Transportation Grants for Low-Income NJ Schools

Field Trip New Jersey Fund, supported by several New Jersey funders, provides grants to reimburse bus transportation costs for field trips, awarding up to $700 per trip. Eligible applicants are New Jersey public and charter pre-K–12 schools and comparable specialized schools with more than 65% of students eligible for free or reduced-price lunches; each school may apply up to twice per school year. Grants cover bus expenses only (may support multiple buses), are reimbursed to a designated payee upon submission of expenditure verification and invoice (payment is not made directly to bus companies), and priority is given to trips taking students outside their districts; college tours in NY, PA, DE, DC, MD, and NJ are allowable. Awardees must submit a final report within 30 days and remain responsible for ancillary expenses, insurance, and indemnification.
