Field Trip New Jersey — Schumann Fund Essex County Field Trip Grants (up to $1,500)

About this program

Field Trip New Jersey, funded by the Schumann Fund for New Jersey, provides reimbursable grants to help connect underserved Essex County students with arts, culture, historical landmarks, nature preserves, science institutions, and college-campus field trips. Grants of up to $1,500 per academic year are available on a rolling basis to cover field-trip expenses (multiple trips allowed if the total does not exceed $1,500 and trips serve different teachers/students). Eligible applicants are Essex County public, charter, and nonprofit private pre-K–12 schools with more than 65% of students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch, and other nonprofit organizations serving Essex County that are current grantees of the Schumann Fund. Applicants must complete the Schumann Fund – Field Trip NJ application and submit required documentation and invoices/receipts (invoices at least two weeks before a trip and within 60 days of the proposed trip) to receive reimbursement.
