Fight for Sight (FFS) offers multiple grants and fellowships to support eye and vision research across career stages, including FFS/NANOS, Post-Doctoral Awards, Grants‑in‑Aid, FFS‑Lirot, Summer Student Fellowships and numerous partnered/co‑funded special awards. Applications are submitted online by midnight Eastern Time with award-specific deadlines: FFS/NANOS Sept 15; Post‑Doctoral and Grants‑in‑Aid Nov 15; FFS‑Lirot Dec 31; Summer Student Feb 15; late or incomplete submissions are not reviewed. Applicants must choose one of three subspecialty sections (Anterior Segment, Posterior Segment, Visual & Motor Pathways) and provide required materials—research proposal (maximum 4 pages for Summer Student; 8 pages for Post‑Doctoral and Grants‑in‑Aid), sponsor and reference letters, CV/NIH‑style biosketches and supplemental information. All proposals are reviewed by the volunteer FFS Scientific Review Committee (minimum two primary reviewers per application) and final awards are made by the FFS Board; candidates for special/co‑funded awards should include a cover letter (and a NANOS special form if applicable).
