About this program

Florida Nurses Foundation offers annual Research/Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) grants to support nursing career development and fund research and EBP projects, with several awards of at least $500 available each year. Principal investigators must be registered nurses licensed in Florida who have not received an FNF Research/EBP grant within the past three years, and projects must not be completed before the application deadline; funding is conditional on IRB or EBP committee approval prior to project start. Applications are submitted electronically via the FNF portal by June 1 (annual) and must follow strict formatting and two electronic document set requirements, including a face sheet with the last four SSN digits, CV, IRB/approval or mentor/hospital administrator letter if applicable, a blind-reviewed 5‑page proposal, budget justification, and required supporting materials; FNF does not fund indirect costs, investigator salaries, tuition, computer/software, or travel except for data collection, and recipients must acknowledge FNF in any dissemination.
