Forrest Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowships support early-career researchers with outstanding academic records, significant research contributions and interdisciplinary ambitions, offering a Level A Step 8 salary (example $108,362 in 2025) plus 17% superannuation, an accommodation allowance (~$25,116 p.a. in 2025), a $12,000 one‑off research/travel allowance and relocation support; Level B appointments may be considered if the employing university supports them. Applicants must be in the final year of their PhD or within two years of PhD conferral; for 2025 applications (fellowship commencing 2026) the PhD must have been conferred on or after 1 Jan 2023 or all requirements completed by 31 Dec 2025. Candidates should demonstrate top-tier academic performance, notable personal research contributions beyond their discipline and a commitment to public engagement; required application materials include a completed form, CV, publications list, grants/awards list and contact details for three referees (at least two academic).
