From Campus to Career: Advancing Career-Connected High-Impact Practices

Lumina Foundation, with AASCU, Excelencia in Education, and the Center for Innovation in Postsecondary Education, is soliciting letters of interest from up to 15 accredited U.S. bachelor’s degree‑granting institutions to scale and institutionalize career‑connected high‑impact practices (HIPs) such as internships, undergraduate research, study abroad, service learning, and capstone projects; selected grantees will receive $80,000–$100,000 each, tailored technical assistance, and membership in a national peer learning community. Eligible applicants are accredited U.S. bachelor’s degree‑granting colleges or universities (bachelor’s degree‑granting community colleges are not eligible) that demonstrate experience implementing and assessing multiple HIPs, an explicit plan to embed career preparation into curricular or co‑curricular experiences, and a commitment to equity in access, participation, and outcomes. Priority consideration will be given to AASCU members, Seal of Excelencia–certified institutions, and public or private HBCUs; letters of interest are being accepted (no deadline listed).
