Washington Square Health Foundation offers grants for projects in medical and nursing education, clinical research, and direct health care services, particularly initiatives that produce measurable improvements in patient care, outcomes, or health status. Priority is given to projects serving medically indigent and vulnerable populations, strengthening safety-net services, and supporting unmet or nonreimbursed needs. Eligible applicants should be not-for-profit organizations whose proposals align with the Foundation’s priorities and guidelines. Applications are due June 1 or December 1; applicants should consult Foundation staff before writing and submit a draft proposal at least one month before the deadline.
