The Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC) offered its annual Research Grants and Awards cycle, providing over $518,000 to support clinical trials and gynecologic cancer research; applications are now closed. Through a partnership with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC), two new NOCC-funded awards were available this year: an Early Detection Research Grant and a Quality of Life Research Grant, reflecting NOCC’s commitment to advancing ovarian cancer research that benefits patients and families. Eligible applicants were medical researchers conducting clinical, translational, or patient-centered gynecologic oncology studies—particularly those focused on early detection, quality of life, or clinical trials—and were required to apply within the annual submission cycle.
