About this program
The Tocker Foundation offers General Library Grants to support significant enhancements to rural libraries’ facilities, technology, collections, services, and overall capacity as community hubs. Eligible applicants are libraries in Texas communities serving populations of 12,000 or fewer, based on Texas State Library statistics; county libraries may use the population of the served city. Prospective applicants must consult Karin Gerstenhaber, Director of Grants Management, to confirm project eligibility before applying by January 15, 2027.
