Gertrude Rivers Robinson Annual Meeting Travel Award

The Society for Ethnomusicology offers the Gertrude Rivers Robinson Annual Meeting Travel Award, providing $1,000 in annual travel support to increase participation of underrepresented ethnomusicologists at the SEM Annual Meeting. Applicants must be African American or African Caribbean doctoral candidates who are ABD or untenured faculty at cultural institutions; preference is given to those presenting at the meeting. Previous recipients must wait three years before reapplying, and applications are due July 1 with a statement, curriculum vitae, and presentation abstract if applicable.
