About this program

The Glaucoma Research Society of Canada provides seed grants of up to $25,000 per project for innovative research advancing knowledge of glaucoma’s causes, treatment, and potential cure. Applications are due November 28, 2025, with results expected by May 31, 2026. Eligible applicants include individuals with a current university appointment, graduate students, postdoctoral students, and clinical research fellows conducting research through a recognized university or academic hospital under appropriate supervision. Trainees must be supervised by a glaucoma specialist or researcher, and applications must include a proposal, CVs, budget, academic credentials, publications, and information on other grants.
