The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) offers grants to advance racial and Indigenous health equity through two funding approaches: Rapid Response Research and New Research Support. Rapid Response Research provides $50,000 to $200,000 to offset federal funding losses for existing health equity projects, while New Research Support awards $250,000 to $500,000 for community-driven initiatives led by organizations with a strong track record in racial and Indigenous health equity. Eligibility for Rapid Response Research requires documentation of federal funding loss, and for New Research Support, community-based organizations (CBOs) must lead, with research institutions eligible only as partners. Applications are open until May 28, 2025, with letters of intent due by July 16, 2025.
