About this program
The Berrien Community Foundation offers the Golden Acorn Classroom Mini Grants to support teachers and school staff in Berrien County with funding for innovative in-school or in-class projects. Grants of up to $500 are available for initiatives that go beyond regular classroom costs, such as educational kits and resources. Eligible applicants include teachers and school staff in Berrien County, with multiple applications from the same district encouraged, though teachers may receive only one award per calendar year. Applications are accepted twice annually, with deadlines on June 1 and December 1, and require principal approval.
