Graduate Intern Fellowship in Toxicology Award (GIFT)

About this program

The Society of Toxicology (SOT) offers the Graduate Intern Fellowship in Toxicology Award (GIFT), providing one award of up to $3,000 for travel, housing, or stipend costs associated with an external internship lasting at least six consecutive weeks between May and August. The internship must provide toxicology-related professional or scientific development beyond the applicant’s existing graduate training and support career goals in toxicology. Applicants must be enrolled in a toxicology or related PhD program, have completed at least two semesters or three quarters, and be SOT graduate student members or have membership pending. Applications require program and advisor approval, an internship proposal and host documentation, a CV, transcripts, budget, and career goals; the deadline is February 15, 2027.
