Graduate Internships

About this program

The Getty Foundation is offering advanced internships to graduate students, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various departments within the Getty institutions. These internships offer a comprehensive training program, covering curatorial, education, conservation, and research roles, among others.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in or have recently completed a relevant graduate program, with a focus on art history, conservation, or museum studies. The foundation particularly encourages applications from underrepresented groups in these fields. Successful candidates will receive a grant of $52,500 for the 12-month internship, along with additional support for relocation and research travel.
