Graduate Student and Contingent Faculty Mutual Aid Funding

About this program

The Children’s Literature Association (ChLA) offers Mutual Aid Funding to help offset annual conference attendance costs for graduate students and contingent faculty who lack sufficient financial support. Awards are distributed equally among all applicants, with amounts determined by available donations and the number of applicants. Eligible applicants must submit their application by February 28, including statements describing their financial need and eligibility, the conference’s relevance to their research or professional goals, and a 1–2-page abbreviated CV.
