Graduate Student Travel Grant

About this program

The Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) offers Graduate Student Travel Grants of up to $500 to subsidize travel expenses for graduate students presenting papers at its Annual Convention. Two additional $500 Catharine Nepomnyshchy Grants support students presenting papers on literature. Applicants must be master’s or doctoral students in a relevant field, ASEEES student members, and paper presenters at the convention; chairs, discussants, and roundtable participants are ineligible. Applicants may receive only one grant during their graduate studies, and applications—including an abstract, budget, statement of need, and CV—are due May 20.
