Graduate Student Travel Grant

About this program

The Association for Slavic, East European, & Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) offers the Graduate Student Travel Grant to subsidize travel costs for graduate students presenting papers at its Annual Convention. Funded by Kathryn W. Davis and Future of the Field donations, the grant awards up to $500 to approximately 40 recipients, with two additional $500 grants for literature papers. Eligibility is limited to masters or doctoral students who are ASEEES members, presenting on a panel, and have not previously received this grant. Applications are evaluated based on intellectual merit, disciplinary and regional balance, with priority given to first-time attendees or those without institutional travel support.
