Halferty, Caitlyn Marie Memorial Scholarship Fund

About this program

The Community Foundation of Noble County offers the Halferty, Caitlyn Marie Memorial Scholarship, a one-time $250 award (one recipient annually) for a well-rounded West Noble High School senior planning to attend any accredited college, university, vocational, or other post‑secondary institution; awarded funds must be used for tuition, books, and academic fees and may not be applied to housing. Eligible applicants are West Noble HS seniors with a cumulative GPA between 2.50 and 3.80 and a demonstrated well-rounded profile; any field of study is acceptable. Applications must be submitted via the CFNC Scholarship Apply Portal—applicants must create an account, complete the eligibility quiz, fill out matched scholarship applications and the CFNC Main Application (essays, references, activities), and respond to the extra essay prompt about advising middle school students. All required materials must be received through the portal by January 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM.
