The Harold S. Geneen Charitable Trust Awards Program, managed by The Medical Foundation at Health Resources in Action (HRiA), supports research focused on preventing coronary heart disease and circulatory failure, as well as improving patient care. This program prioritizes basic and translational scientific research from smaller and mid-sized institutions, excluding clinical studies. Eligibility is limited to full-time faculty members from invited institutions, with a focus on junior faculty and those with limited funding (less than $500,000 in direct costs). Each invited institution may submit one application, and United States citizenship is not required.
