Hartmann Müller-Stiftung funds research projects by investigators affiliated with the University of Zurich Faculty of Medicine, covering project costs such as personnel (applicant salary excluded), consumables and equipment. Eligible applicants are faculty members, assistant professors and Privatdozenten (who apply directly to the Foundation Board), and senior physicians, senior assistants and assistants/postdocs at affiliated institutes/clinics (who must upload a letter of support from their department/institute head or a Privatdozent). Grants are up to CHF 100,000 per beneficiary over 10 years (maximum CHF 50,000 per round); applications are submitted via the Hartmann Müller-Stiftung online tool (UZH Shortname/WebPass) and must include a max 2‑page research plan, financial plan, CV, publication list and any required ethics or animal approvals. Applications missing formal criteria or required approvals will be rejected without further review.
