Health Equity and Inclusiveness Research Fellow Award

About this program

The LUNGevity Foundation offers the Health Equity and Inclusiveness Research Fellow Award to support physician-scientists conducting lung cancer clinical research aimed at reducing health disparities in underserved communities or underrepresented minorities. The award provides $100,000 ($50,000 per year for 2 years) to fund projects focused on early detection, outcomes, or foundational methods for individualized treatment. Eligibility is limited to physician-scientists with a doctoral degree, currently in any year of a fellowship, and committed to a career in lung cancer research. Applicants must submit a mentoring plan, and only one award is granted per institution.
