About this program
The DAISY Foundation invites nursing professionals to apply for grants supporting research and evidence-based practice projects focused on addressing social determinants of health (SDoH) and improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations. Registered nurses, regardless of experience, can lead projects aligned with local community needs, targeting populations facing health risks due to SDoH factors.
Eligible applicants must be connected to a clinical or community health setting, with projects approved or exempted by an institutional review board (IRB). The grants cover direct expenses, with a maximum funding of $10,000 for research studies and $2,500 for evidence-based practice projects, and applicants are encouraged to seek mentorship if needed.
